Our Team

Our Therapists

All of our therapists hold Master’s Degrees and are speech-language pathologists licensed to practice in Texas. Each one is:

  • Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC – Certificate of Clinical Competence),
  • Licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology
  • A member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association

AmandaAmanda Schram, co-owner of Connections Speech- Language Therapy, earned a BBA in Marketing from Lamar University. She then went onto pursue and receive a Masters in Science in Speech Language Pathology from Northwestern State University. Amanda has experience with children, adults, and social groups. She has experience with autism, multiple disabilities, Down Syndrome, TBI, Cerebral Palsy, diverse language and articulation disorders, fluency disorders, phonological processing, auditory processing disorders, language impairments, and developmental delays. Amanda is trained in Augmentative and Alternative Communication including Picture Exchange System (PECS), Floor Time Therapy, Pragmatic Social Thinking Methods, and Every Move Counts. Amanda has a passion for social and pragmatic therapy in one-on-one scenarios and group settings. She is knowledgeable about the public school system and Special Education policies/procedures of IDEA. Amanda has worked in hospital, school, and clinic settings. Amanda is a member of TSHA and ASHA. 

Amanda is a married mother of three and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, at their home in Boerne. 

Amanda is excited for this next adventure with Rachel as they take over Connections Speech Language Therapy clinic and continue to offer outstanding speech language therapy to Boerne and the surrounding communities!

RachelRachel Jamerson, co-owner of Connections Speech-Language Therapy, graduated from the University of Tulsa in 2007 with her Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology. She has experience with adults and children in the Outpatient, Inpatient, Acute, and home settings. Rachel has experience with articulation and language disorders, dysarthria, aphasia, cognitive impairments, dysphagia, CVA/Stroke, Head and Neck Cancer, Voice Disorders in children and adults, trachs and speaking valves, Tongue Thrust (tongue protrusion during speech and/or swallowing), Oral-motor dysfunction, and Accent reduction. 


  • Holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association
  • Licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
  • Specialization with Laryngectomy Population on Voice Restoration 
  • Certified STAR program Clinician with specialization in Oncology Rehabilitation of Head and Neck Cancer 
  • SPEAK OUT! Certified Clinician which specializes in evaluation/treatment of speech and voice disorders in Parkinson’s and Parkinson Syndromes
  • Certified MBSImP Clinician
  • DPNS and E-Stim Certified Clinician 

Rachel has lived in Boerne for almost 3 years with her husband and 2 children. Rachel is an Okie at heart but has enjoyed living in the Hill Country.

Kathy Webster earned a Bachelor’s degree from Texas State University and a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from University of Memphis. She completed 30 hours of post-graduate work at Trinity University in the field of Education Leadership. She has more than 30 years of experience in working with children who have communication disorders.

She is:

Kathy’s experience with children is not limited to the professional work environment. She is the mother of two children who attended Boerne I.S.D. schools. She has been active in the community and at First Baptist Church-Boerne, where she taught in the Children’s Sunday School Department for many years. She has also served as a Girl Scout Leader, a Cub Scout Leader, and served on the Boy Scouts of America Troop 18 Committee for several years. She volunteers at the Meadowlands campus of Roy Maas Youth Alternatives and mentors young women who are pursuing a career as speech-language pathologists.

Ann-Mc-DonaldAnn McDonald earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. She has over 30 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist treating children. Ann has worked in public elementary schools, preschools, and early intervention programs. She joined the Connections team in 2009. Ann has particular expertise with childhood fluency disorders (stuttering and cluttering), apraxia of speech, phonological disorders, and oral-motor problems. Ann is married and the mother of two grown children. She is active in her church and volunteers with Meals on Wheels in the Helotes area.

kelly-taylorKelly Taylor completed her coursework at the University of California, Santa Barbara where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences in 1994. She received her Master’s degree in Communication Disorders in 1996 from California State University, San Diego. Kelly has specialized in early intervention services for young children with oral-motor problems, articulation delays, and phonological disorders. She has 20 years’ experience as an SLP, including being the director for one of the Scottish Rite Childhood Language Centers in California. Kelly and her husband moved to San Antonio in 2012 with their two children. She joined the Connections team in 2017.
